Numbness and Tingling in the Hands and Feet

Pain

Most people wonder why a chiropractor from Burlington is so pre-occupied with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Well, let me tell you why…

Carpal Tunnel syndrome is the most common medical MIS-diagnosis. 99% of the people who have numbness and tingling in the hands and feet or numbness and tingling in the feet actually do not have carpal tunnel syndrome OR tarsal tunnel syndrome.

Here is what happens…a number of years ago the patient got into some kind of trauma. It could have been in hockey, a motor vehicle accident, a fall of some kind…even a repetitive stress injury while working (over a desk or computer). This makes the verebrae move differently and most unfortunately, lose the proper arc in the neck (or low back).

The curve being different causes spinal cord tension, spinal nerve tension and arthritis to start in the spine.

When the nerves get compressed you will get numbness and tingling in the hands and fingers or if the nerves get compressed in the low back, you will get numbness and tingling in the legs and feet.

I know this process well. It happened to me before I became a chiropractor and I have seen it happen in THOUSANDS OF PATIENTS over the last 15 years.
